Teachers at the Heart of Reform: Transforming Teacher Education for Human Capital Development in the 21st Century
Education systems worldwide are reforming how teachers and the people who train and lead them are prepared, recruited, regulated and supported. UNITE is convening the International Teacher Education Conference 2026, bringing together teacher education scholars and practitioners, including policy makers, from around the world. It invites rigorous, practice-oriented contributions, from single-country to comparative studies, that move teacher education reform from commitment to measurable impact on human capital development.
