Event Series: Supporting Teachers to Accelerate Learning Recovery

To celebrate teachers on and in the lead up to World Teachers’ Day (Oct 5th), the World Bank Education Global Practice is organizing a series of events to recognize the work of teachers through the pandemic, and spotlight the importance of supporting teachers to lead the global education recovery efforts.

The event series covers the following subjects:

• Coach: Accelerating Learning by Improving In-service Teacher Professional Development (16 September)
  • Join us for the global launch of the Coach programme, the World Bank's new initiative to accelerate learning by improving in-service teacher professional development. VVOB is proud to be part of the Global Coach Program International Technical Advisory Board through Tom Vandenbosch, our Global Director of Programmes.
• Translating Research on Effective Teaching to Action (23 September)
• Technology and Teacher Professional Development: Lessons from Innovations Across the Globe (30 September)
