Girls’ education research and policy symposium: Creating systems change for girls

The 'Girls education research and policy symposium' organised by the Center for Universal Education at Brookings explores approaches to creating systems change for the most marginalised girls. Topics are based on the research of the 2018 Echidna Global Scholars, including rethinking early childhood education from a gender perspective; leveraging political transitions for girls’ education reform; and working with teachers on empowering girls through gender sensitive pedagogies.
