The agricultural programme 'Improving Agricultural Extension' (ImAgE) of VVOB Cambodia developed a short video to show some activities and results. They premiered the video during the 'National Extension Workshop' organised by the central government at the end of December 2011.
Farmers and extension workers in Kandal Province of Cambodia talk about their experiences during the ImAgE programme. The video also shows activities such as 'Farmer Field Schools' conducted by provincial and district extension workers for improving the agricultural practices of farmers.
The ImAgE programme is implemented by the VVOB, the MAFF (the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia) and the Provincial Department of Agriculture of Kandal Province. The programme runs from 2009 until 2012 and is funded by the Belgian Development Cooperation.
