Our Partners

At VVOB, partnership is the cornerstone of sustainable change in education. Guided by our Learning Unlimited. strategy, we invest in relationships built on trust, respect, and shared values. Together with ministries of education, collaborating partners, civil society, and international networks, we co-create solutions that are inclusive, evidence-based, and future-proof.

Government Partners

We work hand in hand with ministries of education in all our countries of operation as the duty bearers of the right to education. Their leadership ensures ownership and sustainability, while VVOB contributes technical expertise, innovation, and evidence. This collaboration strengthens national systems, empowers teachers and school leaders, and enables effective system-level change.

We also work with the Belgian Directorate-General for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid (DGD) as a key partner.

Collaborating Partners

Our collaborating partners — from foundations, bilateral and multilateral institutions to universities and research organisations — bring resources, knowledge, and innovation that multiply our collective impact.

Together we build sustainability, investing beyond short-term projects to strengthen education systems for the future. We embrace innovation, testing and scaling approaches that respond to today’s challenges. We ground our work in evidence, ensuring data and research shape decisions. And we uphold local ownership, supporting partners to lead in their own contexts while VVOB brings the expertise and evidence that help change endure.

These collaborations do more than deliver results, they shape the global knowledge and practices that will benefit learners for generations.

Networks and Memberships

VVOB is proud to be part of international coalitions and networks that bring diverse perspectives to education. Through these memberships, we exchange learning, advocate for systemic change, and amplify the voices of teachers and school leaders worldwide.

Our active participation ensures that the insights from our partnerships in-country contribute to global progress on SDG 4 and that global knowledge flows back to strengthen classrooms and education systems where it is needed most.
