Learning Series Webinar
Gender-based discrimination, harmful social and gender norms and stereotypes are drivers of violence that are exacerbated during a pandemic. Ensuring protection from physical, psychological and sexual violence remains a critical part of providing a safe and gender-responsive learning environment, particularly as schools reopen.
In this context, and grounded in the #16Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, the Global Working Group to End School-Related Gender-Based Violence (SRGBV) organises an interactive discussion to learn more about promising strategies and approaches to addressing drivers of SRGBV across diverse contexts.
As a member of the Working Group, VVOB sits in the panel to discuss how we support schools and teachers to address and challenge harmful gender norms and create safe and supportive school environments, with lessons learnt from Ecuador.
