Teaching at the Right Level 2018 Conference

The Teaching at the Right Level 2018 Conference is an event for education stakeholders who are invested in working together to actively support a holistic, evidence-informed approach to improving the basic skills of primary school learners across Africa.

Pioneered by Indian NGO Pratham, Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) is a remedial teaching method to basic skills that moulds classroom instruction to a child’s learning level. In Zambia, VVOB implements the TaRL approach in 1,200 schools with J-PAL, the Zambian Ministry of General Education, UNICEF and USAID. At the event, VVOB partakes in a panel discussion about ‘Supporting teachers through mentoring and coaching’ to share our insights and experiences from Zambia.
