In Uganda, VVOB works with the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) to strengthen the initial education of teachers and instructors in agricultural education. Key aspects of quality pre-service training for future teachers and instructors in agricultural education include: practical teaching experience, technical and entrepreneurial skills, and work-based learning opportunities.

Call for proposals
To ensure the relevance and quality of this endeavour with MoES, we are publishing a call for proposals for an in-depth literature review of selected theories, models and evidence on quality agricultural education and training.
The focus of the literature review is on initial teacher education, business technical and vocational education and training (BTVET), and O-level.
