Support Book for Effective Teaching Mathematics: How To Produce and Use Teaching Aids

This Khmer-language support book for teaching effective mathematics focuses on the ways to produce and use teaching aids. It is very important to use them in teaching mathematics so as to make it easy for students to understand difficult concepts and stimulate active learning and teaching. Developed by VVOB in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), the resource complements the Formative Assessment in Mathematics manual by offering detailed lesson examples, exercises, and strategies that promote active, student-centred learning.

The book includes concrete teaching aids, sample classroom activities, and guidance on how to support diverse learners through differentiated instruction. It aims to strengthen teachers’ content knowledge and pedagogical skills while encouraging reflection and collaboration. Through this resource, VVOB and MoEYS help teachers create more engaging and effective learning environments that foster problem-solving, reasoning, and confidence in mathematics.
