In June 2010, seven members of the Kenyan Ministry of Education visit Belgium and the Netherlands. The study visit takes place in the framework of the MOE-VVOB ICT Integration in Education Programme in collaboration with the KESSP ICT Investment Programme. The study visit envisages to attain more insights on ICT integration in the classroom with a focus on teacher professional development: What does it look like? How to use ICTs in a way that it invokes and stimulates learning? And how to build teachers’ capacity for effective use and integration of ICT in the classroom?

The study visit is an opportunity for information exchange, exposure to good examples of ICT integration in the classroom and debate with other professionals engaged in ICT integration in Education to ensure continued learning and with a view to establish collaboration with partner institutes.
