VVOB strives to be an equitable, diverse and inclusive organisation in terms of both its project activities and organisational practices. To put this into practice, we call on the expertise of our external partners to not only collaborate on the development and implementation of our programmes, but also to ensure our HR policies and practices reflects the organisation we strive to be. RoSa npo (the centre of expertise for gender and feminism) is one of VVOB's structural partners on gender-related educational programmes, and specifically advising on gender perspective within our HR policies and processes. VVOB commits to build more external partnerships in the future to ensure we will keep improving ourselves to become and stay an inclusive organisation where competencies and qualities of people prevail, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or disability. 

 

To ensure each staff member feels safe and respected and to guarantee the operationalisation of our integrity policy, VVOB has a proactive and reactive integrity system in place and has appointed a global focal point integrity and certified confidential counsellors in every country office, to ensure staff feel supported and empowered to discuss integrity related issues.
