Summary
This working paper explores how psychosocial challenges in the home environment, such as poverty, family separation, domestic violence, and child abuse, affect the learning performance of primary school learners in Cambodia. Conducted by Louvain Cooperation and VVOB, the study draws on 86 in-depth interviews and focus group discussions with students, parents, teachers, and education officials in Battambang and Kampong Cham provinces.
