Our Partners in Tanzania

VVOB strengthens education through partnerships. We work within existing education systems, led by the Ministry of Education and its institutions. Depending on the country, we also collaborate with universities, teacher education institutions, civil society organisations, and more.

Our Approach to Partnerships

VVOB supports Tanzania’s Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and its institutions so they can strengthen school leadership nationwide. Together with the Agency for the Development of Educational Management (ADEM), we are building professional development opportunities for principals and education officers so they can better guide teachers and improve learning in secondary schools. This national work is supported by international partners and linked to regional exchange through the African Centre for School Leadership. 

Government Partners

VVOB in Tanzania works in close partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) to ensure alignment with national education policies and reforms. 

We also partner with the Agency for the Development of Educational Management (ADEM), the lead institution for professional development of school leaders in Tanzania.
