Prize 'Digital 4 Development' (D4D) rewards outstanding initiatives that use digitisation and (new) technologies as a lever for development towards achieving the SDGs.

 

VVOB is proud to be nominated with the Scratc²h 2050 project in the iStartUp category. The winners of the D4D Prizes will be announced during the awards ceremony on 24 November, after a second jury meeting on 22 November.

 

Congratulations to our fellow nominees RMCA, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Université de Kinshasa and KULeuven for their project 'Citizens and Machine Learning to End Snail-Borne Diseases'; and Fit-For-Purpose Technologies for their project 'Halisi: Trusted Biometrics as a Service for Animals'.
