School-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) affects millions of children around the world. Fuelled by persisting gender norms and stereotypes, and enforced by unequal power dynamics, SRGBV negatively affects learners’ lives in many ways: from low self-esteem and depression, to early and unintended pregnancy, low educational outcomes and/or school dropouts.
