El Telégrafo reported on 18 August about the educational Programme “Escuelas Gestoras del Cambio” in Ecuador. The press article gives a survey of the objectives of the programme, the different components and the state of affairs. The end of the base line study of the five remaining provinces means for the programme the selection of the educational communities in all ten provinces and the putting up of projects together with the concerned schools and the multidisciplinary teams of the provincial education managements. The visit of Roger Standaert from the Education Department of the Flemish Community means an important input for the further deployment of the to be implemented strategies.
