Contemporary Early Childhood Education in Vietnam: Reconceptualization and Transformation
The upcoming Vietnam Education Symposium (VES) will address early childhood education (ECE) which has been severely affected by the pandemic due to insufficient support for infrastructure and teacher/child mental health. ECE is gaining a prominent position in education research and national development plans, including in the Asia Pacific region and in Vietnam, where it is a national development priority and a growing market for private investment. However, research on ECE in Vietnam is still limited, and the symposium aims to provide a platform for scholars, educators, and practitioners to share their perspectives on the advancements and challenges of ECE in Vietnam.
